Whole genome bisulfite sequencing can be costly and subsequent data analysis very complex. Targeted methylation sequencing enables you to determine the methylation status of select known differentially methylated regions. It is a more efficient approach that allows you to maximize your sequencing budget.

The SureSelect^XT Methyl-Seq Library Preparation kit enables the preparation of gDNA for targeted sequencing. Libraries are enriched using Agilent’s SureSelect^XT Methyl-Seq Target Enrichment probes or panels, bisulfite treated, and then sequenced on an Illumina sequencer.
