One HPLC injector with two injection modes
Hybrid Multisampler Series
The Hybrid Multisamplers are well-suited for samples with strong solvents, such as those prepared using QuEChERS in food analysis due to the challenging sample solvent effects, leading to peak breakthrough and poor peak shapes, especially as injection volumes increase. It inherently allows for higher injection volumes without compromising chromatographic performance, which is crucial for detecting PFAS at ultratrace levels.
Agilent Feed Injection mode in Hybrid Multisamplers can mediate strong sample solvent effects by mixing HPLC sample and mobile phase directly at injection to improve peak shapes and sensitivity. By using Feed Injection mode, there is no need for extra sample preparation, and peak shapes enable easy peak integration.

- Hybrid injection technology allows both classical flow-through injection for seamless method transfer and Agilent Feed Injection to mediate strong sample solvent effects and improve peak shapes in HPLC
- Biocompatible sample flow path of the 1290 Infinity III Hybrid Multisampler ensures integrity of biomolecules and minimizes unwanted surface interactions
- Shallow microplate drawers take a maximum load of 16 microplates and up to 6,144 samples, offering unmatched sample capacity
- Robotic arms, microplates, and other sample containers move from sample hotel to central workspace for seamless automation during sample processing steps and injections
- Three individual wash options (inner wash, outer wash, and seat wash) with multiple solvents enable low carryover
- Integrated sample thermostat, available as option or upgrade, provides cooling and heating from 4 to 40 °C
- Lights on each drawer indicate loading status, current activity, and accessibility for instant information while working with your HPLC system
